Plane Crashes in Southern China

A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 carrying 132 passengers and crew has crashed in southern China, according to state media.

The plane was flying from Kunming to Guangzhou when it lost contact with air traffic control and crashed in the Teng County, Wuzhou City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

There were no immediate reports of survivors.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
